How to care for your bouquet in Dubai
A bouquet benefits from a little attention after it arrives. These simple steps provide a useful routine for looking after cut flowers at home.
Prepare the vase and stems
Wash the vase and fill it with fresh water. Carefully trim the stems with a clean, sharp tool. Remove leaves that would sit below the waterline to help keep the water clean.
Choose a cool location
Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, heat sources and fruit. Avoid placing flowers directly in the airflow from an air conditioner. When transporting a bouquet, try to keep time out of water to a minimum.
Check your flowers daily
Check the water level, change the water regularly and wash the vase. Remove fading flowers and leaves. If you use cut-flower food, follow the instructions on its packaging.
Ask about your particular bouquet
Roses, peonies, hydrangeas and tulips may need different care. Ask your florist about the right water level and care routine for your chosen flowers. Delivery times and terms are confirmed by our team.
